What is the 6th Annual Golf Tournament?

Camp Letts Golf Tournament is our annual outting for Camp Letts Alumni, Family and friends to help raise money while playing the game they love! Kicking off summer with 18 holes of golf at Renditions Golf Course in Davidsonville MD, golfers will enjoy food, beverages, prizes, games and more!

 

What can a player expect from this year's tournament?

Upon arrival at the tournament players will check in with staff and volunteers, meet up with their foursomes, enter into the 50/50, pick up this year's $40 Super Ticket (details below), purchase raffle tickets, grab some breakfast, take a few minutes to meet with the Nike Golf rep and get fitted for some new clubs, get their cart and head out onto the course. There will be great food, games on course and some special offerings and gifts for golfers.

The closing reception will also include door prizes, a selection of raffle items, awarding of the 50/50 and contest results.

What is the Super Ticket?

The Super ticket is a fun new option for this year! The $40 ticket includes:
3 Mulligans, Door Prize Entry, $10 Golfsmith Gift Card, Contest Entry for Putting Contest, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin, Scratcher Game to win a Vacation, Drawing for a $100,000 Shoot Out (4 tickets will be drawn) and maybe even more!

What are the Raffle Items for this year?

Included with your Super ticket will be one Raffle ticket that you can use towards the prize of your choice. Additional tickets will be available for sale throughout the tournament so you can increase your chance of winning on of the amazing prizes available this year. Some of this year's Raffle items include:

---(2) Tickets to the July 1st performance of Trace Adkins at the Pier Six Pavilion

Will there be any food or beverages at the Golf Tournament?

Golfers will fuel up with a coffee and breakfast provided before the Shotgun Start, your carts will have a goody bag with snacks and beverages to start you out on the right track. There will also be a roving beverage cart on course circling continually throughout the day. We will have lunch at the turn as well as a reception with plenty of food and beverages at the end of the tournament.

 

What does the Camp Letts' Golf Tournament benefit?

Proceeds from the Annual Golf Tournament go towards enhancing camp programs, improving facilities and help send deserving kids to Camp. YMCA Camp Letts was founded in 1906 and is one of the oldest operating Resident Camps in the nation. We serve over 2,000 children each summer in our Traditional Day Camps, Equestrian Day Camps, Specialty Day Camps, One and Two-Week Overnight (Residential) Camps, Leaders in Training and Counselor in Training programs!

We believe that every child deserves an amazing summer camp experience! The Golf Tournament helps to raise funds to support our programs, facilities and our scholarship program, Building Bridges, a program that enabled us to give scholarships to over 100 deserving families in 2009. This year the need is even greater and we need your help!

YMCA Camp Letts also operates a year round Retreat Center with programs, lodging and catering for groups of 350 or more. We also have Family Camps Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend each year so kids of all ages and their families can enjoy Camp and all the activities we have to offer. Other special events at Camp include our Women's Wellness Weekend April 29 - May 1, Rockin' on the Rhode III our annual concert on the Rhode River on May 22nd and our Turkey Chase 5k fun run/walk and 10k race on Thanksgiving morning each year.
